Well, well, well. Look do we have here...
We' ve been friends for a long time ago. We come from the same alma mother. Actually, our paths crossed one time on another. But it's only now that I gave him a second look. I realized that beauty is in the eyes. The pulpbits of my heart went fast, really fast. Cute pala siya. And then, he came over with me. He said, "I hope you don't mine. Can I get your number?" Nag-worry ako. What if he doesn't give it back? He explained naman na it's so we could keep intact daw. Sabi ko, connect me if i'm wrong but are you asking me ouch? Nabigla siya. Sagot niya, The! Aba! Parang siya pa ang galit! Persona ingrata!!! Ang kapal niya! I cried buckles of tears.
Na-guilty yata siya. Sabi niya, isipin mo na lang na this is a blessing in the sky. Irregardless daw of his feelings, we'll go ouch na rin. Now, we're so in love. Mute and epidemic na ang past. Thanks God we swallowed our fried. Kasi, I'm 33 na and I'm running our time. After 2 weeks, he plopped the question. "Will you marriage me?" I'm in a state of shocked. Kasi mantakin mo, when it rains, it's four! This is true good to be true. So siyempre, I said yes. Love is a many splendor.
Pero nung inaayos ko na ang aming kasal, everything swell to pieces. Nag-di-dinner kami noon nang biglang sa harap ng aming table, may babaeng humirit ng, "Well, well, well. Look do we have here." What the fuss! The nerd ng babaeng yon! She said they were still on. So I told her, whatever is that, cut me some slacks! I didn't want this to get our hand kaya I had to sip it in the bud. She accused me of steeling her boyfriend. Ats if! I don't want to portrait the role of the other woman. Gosh, tell me to the marines! I told her, "please, mine you own business!" Who would believe her anyway?
Dahil it's not my problem anymore but her problem anymore, tumigil na rin siya ng panggugulo. Everything is coming up daisies. I'm so happy. Even my boyfriend said liketwice. He's so supportive. Sabi niya, "Look at is this way. She's our of our lives."
Kaya advise ko sa inyo - take the risk. You can never can tell. Just burn the bridge when you get there. Life is shorts. If you make a mistake, we'll just pray for the internal and external repose of your soul. I second emotion.
I just discovered Drizzle's song samples at PureVolume.com. Drizzle is a band from Cagayan de Oro and they've benn gigging around the Metro from quite some time now. i shot their photos for their album late last year. I like two of their songs, Silly Games and Number 3, from their debut album under Galaxy Records. More info about the band can be found at PHILMUSIC.COM and you can listen to their tracks at PUREVOLUME.COM.
Since I've heard of Club Dredd way back in high school (my formative years in music) i've always wanted to go there, at least once. But by the time I was back in Manila (college), Club Dredd was no more. So when i heard the news that a new Club Dredd was opening soon, I couldn't wait to check it out :) The new Dredd is on the second floor of Gweilos Eastwood. Check out the complete artcle at philmusic.

got this off jordan's multiply. finally, they're coming here for real! check them out here.

from FreelanceSwitch: Finding that pricing sweet spot where you make a great income without scaring clients away is one of the most asked about issues here on FreelanceSwitch. Today for your amusement, here are ten signs you might have gone the other way, charging waaay too little…
Number 10:
Your client mistakes your daily rate for an hourly one.
Number 9:
You've won every job you've ever pitched for.
Number 8:
Even though you work 80 hour weeks your income level qualifies you for welfare payments.
Number 7:
New clients are always asking what "the catch" is.
Number 6:
Clients pay your invoices in cash from their wallet.
Number 5:
Other freelancers regularly send you hatemail.
Number 4:
Your old clients don't even bother asking you how much something is going to cost.
Number 3:
You never run out of work, yet you are subsisting on baked beans and 2
minute noodles.
Number 2:
Your 12 year old brother earns more spending cash than you flipping burgers.
…. And the number one sign you may be charging too little
Companies have been calling from India wanting to outsource their work to you. (Thanks for the email, Dave!)
today, i say goodbye to one of my favorite sites, pandora.com. apparently, they are already blocking access from outside the US due to copyright issues of the tracks they play.
for those unfamiliar with pandora, it's a cool project geared towards broadening your music spectrum. you choose a track or an artist then they'll play a song from that artist, after which they'll play a track similar to the first track. it's amazing how they studied each song from the genre down to the beat so the playlist they make for you sounds pretty tight.
haayy...oh well. what if we make an OPM version of it? imagine...
i am currently trying out OpenOffice. it is an open source program suite geared to be a viable alternative to microsoft's hold on word processing and other office tools. since i started working on computers, i've only known a few word processors and office suites. from the super retro Wordstar, Aldus pagemaker, Lotus 123 to the current microsoft office. OpenOffice holds promise since it can do most of microsoft office's functions and best of all it's FREE!so far i'm impressed. the programs load fast and the interface is very simple. let's see how it holds up. (Thanks for the link, jet.)
This has got to be the most challenging restoration project i ever did. A classic photograph circa 1910 (or thereabouts) which was weathered by water. It even has the original sticker from the photo studio (Sun Studio, Manila). In the photo is the grandmother and mother of our friend from Zone V camera club. Took me 3 hours to finish this. The photo is about 17inches by 23 inches. Good thing it was monochromatic otherwise editing would have been a nightmare! AFTER
